Adult Groups at College United Methodist Church
|
At College Church, we are big on small groups! You don't have to know a lot about the Bible or your faith.
In fact, you may have more questions than answers! Just jump in and start your journey!
Christ taught the disciples and early followers about the power of being together. In fact, the early
church was built on small groups in homes and places where a few believers could worship together and
build friendships. In today's world, a small group is a place where you can be open and get to know
others, gain support, learn more about your faith and the Bible, and find a safe place in the midst of
the stresses of life. So, don't be surprised if you hear a lot about finding a group!
We have several options, but if you don't find a good fit, we are always open to starting a new group!
Here are a few, but watch for new ones, too!
All Church Study Groups - This is a great way to get connected in a group for a short tryout time.
Just sign up for a group which meets at a time that works for you. Several of these groups decide to
continue after the study ends. These are groups which focus on topics related to our entire church
and generally last from 6 to 10 weeks. We like to do two of these each year. Some groups have been:
Purpose Driven Life, Treasures of the Transformed Life, The Study of the DaVinci Code, and
Unbinding Your Heart.
