INVITING IN HIS NAME: Part of our Mission


By far the most effective first step of leading a person to church and a faith relationship with Christ is a personal invitation by a friend, relative, or acquaintance. So, HOW can we be better at inviting?
1) First, don't lose your courage. If you have lost the courage to invite before, just persevere, ask for God's guidance, and step out in faith.
2) Second, make it a priority and find a way that is comfortable for you and keep it simple. Even ask a friend how they do it! Christ called His disciples to take huge risks in the name of His heavenly Father, let's learn to take a small one for HIM!

As you watch, "Water Cooler Evangelism" which was created as an amusing skit by Good Shepard Church in Kansas City, MO, pay attention to the body language of the person asking immediately after his friend says "yes".
