"Starting Point" - Find Your Place in the Story
Do you have questions or are you curious about God, Jesus, or the
Bible? Have you been "away" from your faith and would like to come back?
Are you new to a relationship with Jesus Christ? These are all reasons to
be in a Starting Point Group. Starting Point is an open, conversational
environment where you can feel safe to ask questions and seek answers with
others. Starting Point is an excellent "first step" in faith for those who
want to increase their understanding or rekindle their faith.
SP groups meet for about 10 weeks and together explore the grand story of
the Bible. No previous Bible knowledge is needed, come as you are!
The next Starting Point group begins at CUMC on Sunday, August 17th at 10:30
AM. It is open to our community and all those who seek Jesus Christ in
their lives. For more information or to register, contact David Current at
CUMC, at 636-456-3390 or go to our "Contact Us" link above. Starting Point
is a group which was developed at North Point Church through the ministry of
Andy Stanley. Go to www.startingpoint.com
to learn more.

"We had our Healthy Church Check-Up!"
College Church is part of a "Healthy Church Process" to become more outward focused
in our community. To maintain a healthy church which is focused on "Making
Disciples of Jesus Christ", we voluntarily are participating in this process with
church consultants of looking at our strengths, concerns, and how we can grow and
become better at fulfilling our mission. We finished our Healthy Church
Consultation on Sunday, April 13th and received our "check-up" results and
prescriptions. If approved, a congregational coach will work with our church to
implement these prescriptions. To see our church prescriptions in the Consultation
Report, look at the Healthy Church Prescriptions in the "RESOURCES SECTION".
