What brought you to College Church? When talking with a friend about our ongoing search for a church that friend recommended College United Methodist Church. John had attended services at CUMC as a kid and the Contemporary Service sounded like something we would be interested in. We began attending and not only found it to be a fit, but found that the church's slogan of welcoming people with "open hearts, open minds, and open doors" was true. We instantly felt that this was a place we could feel a part of and a place where we could grow in faith which was important for us as individuals and for our family. How is God working in your life since you came here? After regularly attending College Church we found that we were still missing something. Our faith was growing, but we felt the need to continue to grow in our faith and find ways to serve. We began to serve as ushers and participate in small groups, including the North Star Parenting Group and the 40 Days of Purpose small group. Our involvement in the church family has allowed us to grow as individuals and become better and more patient parents and people. It also helps us to live our lives more focused and with purpose.

"Something in my life was missing. I had been to College Church on several different occasions years ago. I took a giant leap of faith and attended the 9:00 AM service in September 2006. The warmth and friendliness of the congregation just blew me away! I wanted to keep coming back." How is God working in your life since you came here? "God has touched me through this church in so many ways. Just to highlight a few is difficult. I have become closer to God and more God centered which has created an avalanche of blessings in every facet of my life."
