Stephen Ministry
|
Ever feel that you just needed a friend to talk to?
If you experienced a loss of a loved one, have lost your job and don't know what to do or are struggling
with an illness or other crisis, Stephen Ministry is something you should know about. Stephen Ministry
provides trained lay members of our congregation to talk with you and help you work through the issues
you are dealing with. These Caregivers are selected and interviewed and must complete fifty hours of
initial training plus ongoing monthly training sessions.

This ministry is totally confidential and no one knows that you are seeing a Caregiver unless you
choose to tell them. If you are experiencing a crisis in your life and need someone to talk with,
you can contact our Pastor or one of our two Stephen Ministry Leader/Trainers, Bobbi Bradshaw or
Kristi Cornell. If you are interested in applying to be a Stephen Ministry Caregiver,
you may also let us know.
