Women's Ministry of College United Methodist Church

Women's ministry is for all women in the church.
It is a chance to connect
with others, to make friends, and to be involved in serving. There are
various ways and groups including United Methodist Women.

Our Purpose:
• To know God and to experience freedom as
whole persons through Jesus Christ.
• To develop creative and supportive fellowship.
• To expand the concepts of mission through
participation in the global ministries
of the church.
Our Focus:
• Ministry to the needs of women and children.
• Advocacy for the oppressed and dispossessed.
• Leadership development and efforts to achieve inclusiveness.
• World, national and local missions projects.
Some of our projects:
World mission giving, Epworth Children's Home in St. Louis, Red
Bird Mission, McCurdy School, Children's and Youth Programs, Quilting
Project for Festival of Sharing, Agape Ministry of Warren County,
Hygiene Kits, Providing Funeral Meals for church families, Annual
UMW Christmas Bazaar, Soup-er Supper, Member Pledges, Candleburning
Recognition Sunday Ceremony.
Our Women's Groups:
• Mary Martha Circle - 3rd Wednesday each month - 2:00 PM, Fellowship Hall.
• Susanna Circle - 4th Tuesday each month - 7:00 PM, Fellowship Hall.
• Elsie Hummel Circle - 1st Thursday each month - 6:30 PM, Education Wing.
• Quilting Circle - Each Monday at 9:00 AM - Fellowship Hall, Quilting Room.
• Joy for Women - 9:00 AM Thursdays at Church -
